The first gate is the main gate of the temple out of three.
The tea room is located farthest from the main gate (the station side).
About 3 min walk from the main gate to the tea room.
Don’t come in from the main entrance of the temple but go around it and turn to the left.
Go to the entrance of the tea room through the inner garden.

Get out of the ticket gate upstairs
Go down the stairs on your left in the east exit
Pass the bus terminal and keep going down the main street
Pass the first traffic light
Joubokuin temple is on your left-hand side right after the second traffic light at the big crossroads
